1st Bradford Scouting
Annual Advancement Ceremony and Family Potluck Dinner
We will be holding our advancement / going up ceremony on
Thursday May 13th starting at 6:30 pm upstairs at the Bradford
Community Centre (old Arena). We’d like
to have everyone eating by 7 at the latest so please arrive as soon as you
can. This year we are trying something
new. We are asking the families of each
section to bring something based on the category we have listed below.
Beavers Desserts
Cubs Main
Course
Scouts Salads
Venturers/Rovers Vegetables or Buns
We will be supplying the coffee, tea and drinks for the
youth. If you have your own travel mug
please bring it for your drink.
Our program will start with dinner and social time, followed
by our ceremonies and then dessert.
Please let your leaders know whether or not you and your
family will be attending and how many of you that we should expect.
This is our celebration of the growth of our youth as some
prepare to move to the next section.
This is also our chance to recognize the leaders who volunteer their
time. We hope you will be able to make
it out to join us at this celebration.
